Adelaide Acute Physiotherapy is a professional team highly motivated to provide physiotherapy services to St Andrew’s Hospital.
Our physiotherapy team members are fully accredited and are experienced at Grade 2 or higher in acute care hospital practice.
Dashanka Soodan and Vivienne Maxwell lead our on-site therapists, as dedicated practitioners with primary experience in acute care.
Our therapists’ qualifications are recognised by general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Our direction of care is guided by goals primarily identified through consultation with our patients. We select interventions that are proven as safe, effective and appropriate to the individual. We work together with the patient’s clinical teams in all aspects of their stay at St Andrew’s including care within the Critical Care Unit, and recommendations with complex discharge plans.
